I grew up in Prattville Alabama graduating from Prattville High School, Class of 1983, and joined the US Army in 1984. I maintained contact with my family and frequently visited Prattville while serving and working abroad. I recently returned to my hometown and have been a consistent resident of Prattville since 2022. I am married to Ann Newman, my wife of ten years, total we have six children. Three children live here in Alabama with one attending Troy University, one in Prattville High School, and one attending Central Alabama Community College.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and have worked for fortune 500 companies in both physical security, cyber security, and resiliency since 2004.
I am currently the Director of Global Resiliency for a global technology company and lead the program, responsible for all planning, preparation, training, and response to any incident that would impact operations. I regularly brief the executive level leadership on the status of the program, geo-political issues, as well as conducting physical and cyber threat analysis on company facilities.
